Party Favor Bag

Having a Cricut made my life much easier and happier. No more frustration and slaving to the scissors. My Cricut is amazing! If you have no clue what a Cricut machine is, Google it for now. I will have a tutorial on all the basics of the Cricut later.

I never knew the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge could be so handy. This cartridge came standard with my Cricut. I decided to test out the bag shape on this cartridge when I had to prepare for my gift bag demo months ago...and I love this bag! There are different variations of the bag in the cartridge. This bag is perfect as party favors. You can always use it as a jewelry gift bag or a holder for anything. FYI, this is just a tester, so I used cardstock, ribbon, and button I found lying around. The color and design choice is a little funky.

The "L" with its shadow is also from the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge as well. This bag cut even had perforation as indicators of where to fold, which made the assembly much faster. I can whip out a dozen of these in lightening speed!

Another idea I haven't executed is putting different letters on the bag to spell out things and possibly create a banner for an event. I'll definitely share if I do make one.
